SMARTplainfield volunteers join teachers in the classroom to enhance civics instruction. Using source material as literary references, volunteers and teachers discuss history and encourage students to examine the people, events, and ideas that shaped our communities.

SMARTplainfield shares nonpartisan information about school district initiatives, student academic success, Board of Education meetings, and the voting process. These efforts encourage greater awareness and engagement between Plainfield residents and their schools.
